“Here, There, and Everywhere” was written by Paul McCartney while lounging in John Lennon’s pool. The Beatles recorded it in 1966. It was one of Lennon and McCartney’s favorite Beatles songs.

Paul McCartney wrote the song while going out with actress Jane Asher and receiving additional unwanted press attention.

Art Garfunkel called this his favorite song ever.
