2) When Harry Met Sally Movie Review "When Harry Met Sally is a special comedy that can be appreciated by both men and women. The humor used by both characters, though often unintentional, is a good example of how humor can build irresistable attraction. This is the movie with that outrageous scene where Meg Ryan fakes an orgasm in the restaurant. The customer replies, "I'll have what she's having."
This is an excellent date movie.
"Nora Ephron wrote the brisk screenplay for this 1989 romantic comedy, director Rob Reiner made a nicely glossy New York story (very much in a Woody Allen vein) out of it, and Billy Crystal's unstoppable charm made it something really special. Crystal and Meg Ryan play longtime platonic friends who keep dancing around their deeper feelings for one another, and Bruno Kirby and Carrie Fisher are their respective pals who fall in love and get married. Ryan doesn't get a lot of funny material, but her performance is typically alive and intuitive, and she more than holds her own with Crystal's comic motor mouth and sweet sentimentality. Reiner is on comfortable ground, liberated from the burden of making serious statements in the lead-footed manner of subsequent features." 3) Find a unique, fun gift at Dan's Chocolates

4) The Art Of Flirting by Joe Vetromile "Flirting is the way most people determine whether or not a member of the opposite sex is interested in them. Following is a quick outline on how you should go about the complex, sometimes fun, sometimes not so fun, task of flirting. It all begins with your approach. The Approach One person approaches the other. They move into closer physical proximity. This much is clear: NO approach equals NO possibility of initiating contact. You must approach! Example: A woman sits down next to a man in a coffee shop, or a man stands near a woman in a dance club. This is the first step. Once you approach, you begin looking for the signs. The Signs The person who has been approached will always signal the other’s presence in some way…a sign. This signal is not like a train whistle, however, more a subtle body language which you can learn to recognize. For example, he or she simply may look up, move over to make room, nod slightly, or signal with a glancing eye contact. A display of total obliviousness to the one who is approaching generally indicates lack of interest altogether. Don’t be discouraged. But if the one you approached shows absolutely no interest, then it’s time to re-group and try again. But let’s say the approach works. You have your positive acknowledgement, now what? Time to talk."
5) First Love by John Clare Love poems have the power to inspire us and to warm our hearts. We should take a few minutes each day to recall an inspirational line or stanza. First Love
I ne'er was struck before that hour
My face turned pale, a deadly pale.
And then my blood rushed to my face
I could not see a single thing,
Are flowers the winter's choice
I never saw so sweet a face Did you know that John Clare was living in a mental asylum when he wrote this poem? At times he imagined himself to be Lord Byron and at other times, Shakespeare.
Clare wrote this poem to his first love, Mary Joyce.
6) Love Song: L-O-V-E Nat King Cole's soothing voice in this song is special. And what other song better spells out what love is all about than this one? L-O-V-E
L is for the way you look at me,
Love is all that I can give to you, ~Interlude~
L is for the way you look at me,
And love is all that I can give to you,
Love was made for me and you...
That's all for now. Make it a great week. Mark |
